Parks and Rec Public Meetings

The Town of White Pine will conduct a series of public meetings where the citizens are encouraged to attend, give input and discuss community parks and recreation needs. This is a great opportunity for the citizens of White Pine to be heard. These public meetings can provide the foundation for a community development program for parks and recreation designed to enhance the quality of life for all citizens. It is crucial that citizens take part in these meetings.

The Town of White Pine will conduct public meetings on the following dates:

  • March 3, 2026 at 6 PM as part of the Parks
  • March 3, 2026 at 7pm as part of the Board of Mayor and Alderman
  • March 4, 2026 at 12:30pm

All meetings will be held in the White Pine Town Hall Meeting Room, located at 1548 Main Street,
White Pine, Tennessee 37890.

The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the City’s intent to submit an application to the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for Local Parks and Recreation Grant {LPRF) and to solicit input from the citizens regarding recreational needs within the City.

The public is urged to attend. The Town of White Pine does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap or national origin. The meeting place is handicap accessible.
