SUMMARY:Christmas in Jefferson County Sign Ups
DESCRIPTION:Christmas in Jefferson County, a project of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, has announced the registration dates for 2020.\nSign-ups for families needing assistance through the “Christmas in Jefferson County” program will begin on October 29th.  Sign-ups will be held Thursday, October 29th and Friday, October 30th from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and Monday, November 2nd from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Due to restrictions with COVID-19, we will have the sign-ups in three different locations:\nDandridge– Dandridge Volunteer Fire Department, 843 Old Hwy 92, Dandridge\nJefferson City– Jefferson City Fire Department, 104 City Center Dr., Jefferson City\nWhite Pine Location- Ruritan Building, 1820 Maple St., White Pine\nThe program is designed to assist families and individuals who can’t otherwise afford food and toys during the Christmas season.  Families or individuals may sign up for a food basket.  If the family has children, the program provides toys for any child between birth and age 12.  Two toys or gift items may be requested at sign-up for each child in the family.\nA family head of household should come to sign up, bringing the following information:\n\nEvidence of monthly income (paycheck stub, Family First or food stamp documentation-must provide food stamp letter, SSI or Social Security documentation, etc.)\nSocial Security cards for head(s) of household\nPhone number where they can be reached\nEvidence of address (utility bill)\nAnyone other than parents applying for toys, must show proof of guardianship \n\nAND\n\nSocial Security Card or Birth Certificate for every child 12 and under you want to sign-up to receive toys\n\nChristmas in Jefferson County is made possible by a host of volunteers and contributors working with the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce.  Anyone who would like to contribute financially to support this program may send their contributions to:  Christmas in Jefferson County, C/O Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, P.O.
